Ramzi Solutions ("Ramzi", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website ramzi.ae and the associated restaurant ordering and management platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.
By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Name, email address, and WhatsApp number when you sign up or contact us
- Restaurant name, location, and menu content you upload to the platform
- Payment details processed through our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers)
- Messages and support requests you send us
Information collected automatically:
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Pages visited, time spent, and actions taken within the Service
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)
Information from your customers: When an end-customer places an order through your Ramzi-powered menu, we collect their name, delivery address, phone number, and order details on your behalf. You are the data controller for your customers' data; we act as a processor.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and provide the Service
- To process orders and send WhatsApp notifications to you and your customers
- To bill you for the monthly subscription (AED 250/month flat fee)
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- To send product updates, new features, or operational notices (you may opt out of marketing emails at any time)
- To improve the platform through analytics and usage data
- To comply with applicable UAE laws and regulations
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, payment processing, WhatsApp Business API, analytics). They may access data only as needed to perform services on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.
- Your customers: Order confirmations and status updates are sent to your customers' WhatsApp numbers on your instruction.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by UAE law, court order, or government authority.
- Business transfers: If Ramzi Solutions is acquired or merges with another entity, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation, we retain data for 90 days to allow you to export it, then delete it from our systems — except where longer retention is required by UAE law.
You can request a full export of your data (including your customer database and order history) at any time by contacting us at hello@ramzi.ae.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we take it seriously.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the Service.
7. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@ramzi.ae. We will respond within 30 days.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes we will also notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
